Energy that Transforms
We are a Brazilian company operating in the electric power transmission segment, holding the sixth-largest portfolio in the country based on the annual permitted revenue of private companies. We are part of the National Interconnected System (SIN), a high-voltage transmission network that connects power generation plants to distributors and free consumers.
We are present in 11 Brazilian states and operate a network of 4,159 km of transmission lines and 34 substations, with an installed transformation capacity of 3,750 MVA, with a special focus on transmitting energy generated from renewable sources located in Northeastern Brazil and playing a relevant role in the country’s energy transition.
Our foundation took place in 2016 by Pátria Investimentos, a leading manager in alternative investments and a pioneer in Private Equity in Brazil. Four years later, our shareholding structure changed with the acquisition of the company by two new partners: Grupo Energía Bogotá S.A. and Red Eléctrica Brasil Holding Ltda., each holding 50% of Argo’s common shares.
We were born with the purpose of strengthening the electric power sector, acting ethically, efficiently, and committed to sustainable development and the generation of shared value. Always attentive to the interests of all stakeholders we interact with, sustainability is one of our strategic pillars.
Our operations are guided by the continuous pursuit of excellence, safety, discipline, and respect for the environment and communities, reinforcing our commitment to building an increasingly sustainable path.
