We recognize the strategic role of the electricity sector in building a low-carbon economy and the importance of the energy transition for a more sustainable future. We are committed to a clean, resilient, and fair future, working to enable access to renewable energy in different regions of the country.
We have intensified our preparation to face the challenges posed by extreme weather events through continuous review of our risk matrix and the implementation of monitoring and prevention systems. The installation of environmental sensors in the Argo I and Argo VI concessions has helped anticipate and mitigate failures caused by adverse weather conditions, optimizing maintenance and reducing operational costs.
We align our management, monitoring, and reporting practices with internationally recognized models for their effectiveness and reliability. In the environmental sphere, we conduct an annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory, including Scope 3, which covers indirect emissions throughout the value chain. This process allows us to measure, track, and implement strategies for emissions neutralization and sequestration. The inventory is audited by an independent third party and follows the guidelines of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, ensuring transparency and technical rigor.
