Lar Feliz Foundation
(Juazeiro, BA)Provides a safe and healthy environment for children and young people, fostering holistic development, quality education, and socio-emotional support. The investment was directed toward implementing the Residential Electrical Installation Apprenticeship course, aimed at qualifying young people for the job market.
Social Communication Program (PCS)
The Social Communication Program (PCS) is implemented across all Argo assets with the goal of ensuring qualified, transparent, and continuous communication with stakeholders. This initiative prioritizes ongoing dialogue and expectation management during the operation phase of transmission lines and substations.
In addition to sharing relevant information about harmonious coexistence with the projects, safety standards, and ongoing environmental initiatives, the PCS also includes an active grievance mechanism throughout the operational period, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to listening and responding to its stakeholders.
The program also integrates several social and environmental initiatives that directly benefit local communities, strengthening our commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility.

The project provides technical assistance and social business management for fruit pulp, rice, and flour processing units in quilombola communities in Maranhão. The initiative aims to strengthen the autonomy and sustainability of these communities through training and the provision of adequate infrastructure and tools for the efficient operation of production units, implemented under the Quilombola Basic Environmental Plan (PBAQ).
By supporting local income generation and promoting socioeconomic development, the project directly contributes to valuing quilombola communities and consolidating a sustainable and inclusive business model.
The book showcases traditional fishing communities along the Brazilian coastline, their ways of inhabiting this space, and their practices of creating, crafting, and living from the sea. For the book launch in 2021, as a social initiative, 100 copies were donated to the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Department of Culture and 300 copies to nonprofit organizations and public schools.
In 2021, the project served more than 200 children and adolescents aged 8 to 15 through basketball practice, prioritizing the public school system. Conducted in an educational center focused on the basic school network, the project introduces concepts and fundamentals for practicing the sport as a leisure activity, along with cross-cutting themes aimed at contributing to the holistic development of young people and preparing them for citizenship, ethics, inclusion, and social integration.
This project prioritizes comprehensive care for patients over 60 years old at the Hospital de Amor units, covering treatment-related costs as well as multidisciplinary activities.
The project assists children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment at the Pediatric Hospital in Barretos (SP). The support activities were designed to ensure that patients and their families can stay together while facing the disease.
Construction of 1 school, 8 artesian wells, and 4 production units during 2018.
Inclusion of 4 quilombola communities in Argo I’s social initiatives that had not been impacted by the transmission line construction. More than 20 social projects carried out.
