Issuance of Debentures – Argo Energia
On October 9, Argo carried out a public issuance of simple debentures in the amount of R$ 1.7 billion. The funds raised are intended to ensure better economic performance and return on invested capital. The bookbuilding process was highly successful, with demand 34% higher than the amount targeted for the issuance.

April: New Jandaíra II Substation (Argo VI)
New 500 kV transmission line sections Monte Verde – Jandaíra II and Jandaíra II – João Câmara II, as well as the new 500/34.5 kV Jandaíra II substation, which is part of the Argo VI concession, were made available for commercial operation. The substation connects wind farms located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte to the Basic Network and will add 63 MW of wind generation to the National Interconnected System (SIN). This new substation also generates an increase in the Annual Permitted Revenue (RAP).
May: Reinforcement Projects – 2nd Bus Reactor at Ourolândia II Substation (Argo VII)
The reinforcement related to the 2nd bus reactor at Ourolândia II Substation, which is part of the Argo VII (José Maria Macedo) concession, was made available for commercial operation. The reactor bank is part of the structural solution indicated by EPE to enable the full flow of contracted wind and solar plants, in addition to increasing the margin for connecting new generation projects to the transmission network in the southern area of the Northeast region of Brazil.
July: Completion of the Special Protection System (SPS) F-NE-SE Project – Argo IX
On July 29, 2023, Argo completed its participation in the adaptation of the SPS F-NE-SE, a special protection system that monitors power flow between the Northeast and Southeast regions and aims to ensure system stability. This adaptation guarantees maximum utilization of transmission systems, enabling the flow of generation from the North region and the wind potential of the Northeast region.
November:
Acquisition of Odoyá, Esperanza, JMM, Sanguinetti, and Veredas, the largest M&A deal ever carried out in the transmission sector in Brazil.
2022
January: Acquisition of Rialma III
The EPC company Rialma won Lot 30 of Aneel Auction 005/2016 and, in 2022, Argo and Rialma signed the Share Purchase Agreement, through which we acquired 100% of the share capital of Rialma Transmissora de Energia III, formerly known as Argo IV.
February: TLD Argo II and TLD Argo III
TLD Argo II: Start of commercial operation of 100% of Argo II asset
TLD Argo III: Start of commercial operation of 100% of Argo III asset
August: Incorporation of Argeb
Argeb is a company listed on the São Paulo Stock Exchange (“B3”) as category “B”, incorporated with a shareholding structure of 62.5% for Argo and 37.5% for Gebbrás – an investment vehicle in Brazil controlled by Grupo Energía Bogotá (“GEB”).

November: Acquisition of Guaporé (greenfield project)
The EPC company Cobra acquired Lot 32 of Aneel Auction 005/2016 and, in 2018, Argo and Cobra signed the Share Purchase Agreement, through which we acquired 100% of the share capital of Guaporé, formerly known as Argo III.
