In Infrastructure, Pátria performs significant investments in strategic sectors such as energy, telecommunications, logistics, transportation, oil and gas and is a huge player in the electricity sector in Brazil and Latin America (CPFL Renováveis, Latin American Power and Tecnogera).

Blackstone, a leader in alternative investments management, has been a major partner of Patria since 2010.

Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, is also partner of Argo Energia. Its portfolio spans a broad spectrum of industries: financial services; telecommunications, media & technology; consumer & real estate; transportation & industrials; life sciences & agribusiness; as well as energy & resources.


Argo started up when Pátria Investimentos’ team’s identified an opportunity in the Brazilian electricity transmission sector. They decided to participate in ANEEL auction 013/2015, in April 2016, in which they were awarded of lot A, the largest one auctioned, located in the states of Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará, with an expected investment of R$ 1,960 million*.

Argo was made up to develop lot A and future projects. Our team is toned by experienced professionals from power market and Patria.
